Membership is the version we would actually put a student in front of: every full-length adaptive exam, progress that follows them from the laptop to the phone, the whole score history, and a dashboard so a parent can see how it is really going. One student is $9.99 a month. Each additional student is $5.99.
Everything below, from day one. Cancel any time.
A genuine free tier, and a good one. It is the short version, not a countdown.
The single best predictor of a score is how many full-length tests a student has sat under real timing. Not drills, not a shortened version: the whole thing, with the section break, at the point in the afternoon when concentration actually fails. That is the part the free tier does not have, and it is the part that moves a score.
The rest of it matters too, and it is the part parents ask about most. Without an account, progress lives in one browser on one device. It does not follow a student to their phone, it does not survive clearing history, and nobody else can see it. Membership is what turns a study app into something you can check on.
If you are covering a class, a year group or a whole district, the per-student price is not the right shape and we will not pretend it is. We do group pricing directly, including rostering and a single educator view across all your students.
Email hello@cruxsci.com with roughly how many students you need to cover and when your test dates are, and we will come back with a number. If you would rather ask a question first, we are also on X, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Same engine, same adaptive routing, same scoring. The mini test is every section at a shorter length, and it gives an honest score estimate in about a third of the time. The full-length form is the real article: the complete question count, the real per-section clocks, and the break in the middle. Stamina is a skill, and only the long one trains it.
Yes, and the reverse works too. Whoever creates the account sends an invitation link to the other person, and the account holds up to two parents, the student, and optionally one educator or tutor who gets the same dashboard view the parents get.
You drop to the free tier and keep using the site. Nothing is deleted: the synced history stops updating and the member-only views close, and if you resubscribe it is all still there.
It means we are not going to take away what is free today. The lessons, the drills, the arcade, the calculators, the blog and the mini test are free now and are meant to stay that way, with no countdown and no card.
* Honestly, though: for the life of CruxStudy. Nobody can promise a website runs forever, and we would rather say that plainly than print the word "lifetime" and hope you do not think about it. Free for as long as we are here, and we intend to be here a while.
